Multimedia application - Production

Production Scripts

The next step in the production of an interactive multimedia application is the development of specific and detailed scripts for text audio (narrations, music, or sound effects) and video.

 Simple Narration Script

In this, you will learn to create detailed scripts (descriptions) for text, audio (narration, music, or sound effects), and video. The actual development of these multimedia building blocks requires a number of production steps.

If you want to include video, ask the Content Specialist to prepare the script for the use of video. Since several possible video formats and sources are available, the Content Specialist must provide a list of video sources for each topic. Also the Content Specialist must specify the sequence of frames to be played, if applicable.

If you want to integrate digitized video clips into your presentation, then use clips from the available footage, shoot your own footage. In the first instance, the Content Specialist should provide a table similar to the one presented for laser discs. Then, a video script must be developed.
